All The Information People Will Need To Hear About The Kyocera FS-3800D Cartridge

While printer technology has advanced significantly over the past 10 plus years, none have seen the innovative technology of the Kyocera FS-3800D Printer. FS-3800D was a printer of very high quality and was engineered to be “eco-friendly.” Despite being retired, this printer is enough of a cost effective workhorse to still be a contender in the business printing market. The Kyocera FS-3800D Ink And Toner produces remarkable clarity on every printed page.

A black and white laser printer, the FS-3800D is a networkable printer that uses resources efficiently. Its operational costs are low, as well as its impact on the environment. The drum’s cycle is 300,000 prints. Its 16 MB of RAM is facilitated by the Power PC 740 processor (200 MHz). Imaging is enhanced in the resolution that starts at 1,200 dpi x 1,200 dpi and ends with 2,400 dpi x 600 dpi. Owners have described the images printed by the FS-3800D as having lush coloring, brusque edges, and keenly meticulous halftones.

The FS-3800D printed 25 ppm (pages per minute) and was considered to be very fast. It did this by entirely storing the selected file in the memory before printing, thus lessening the need to access the file over the network again during the print. The printer has a very good Energy Star rating because of its power saving technology (it shuts itself off when not in use). Windows 2000, XP, and Vista users can use this printer, as well as those using Mac, UNIX, and Sun platforms. The FS-3800D was “the” printer to meet the needs of business printing (i.e., invoices, forms, reports, bar codes, and direct mail).

An international Japanese company, Kyocera is the producer of many products besides the FS-3800D. Its focus is modern ceramics and its uses, such as components for telecommunications and electronics, as well as semi-conductors. The company’s first incarnation was the Kyoto Ceramic Company, changing its name in 1982 to Kyocera. The branch called Kyocera Mita deals with the company’s imaging technology (i.e., printers).

Kyocera Mita’s current line of printers are an outgrowth of the FS-3800D’s technology. The FS-1100 and the FS-1300D both have a print speed of 30 pages per minute and their drum cycles are 20,000 and 25,000 per month, respectively.

The next step up is the FS-1350DN and the FS-2020D. These print at the speed of 32 ppm and 37 ppm with drum duty cycles of 30,000 and 150,000. The page per minute rates of 40, 42, 47, and 51 can be found in the FS-9130DN, FS-3920DN, FS-4020DN, and the FS-9530DN, respectively. The duty cycles range between 200,000 to 300,000 per month.

The printers produced by Kyocera Mita all use Ecosys technology. Ecosys aims to impact the environment minimally be creating longer life consumables and reducing the owner’s cost-per-print. Ultimately, Ecosys technology has separated the drum from the toner cartridge. Typical printers have the two combined and when the printer runs out of Kyocera FS-3800D Toner, the perfectly fine drum gets replaced with the toner. The Kyocera printers do not needlessly replace this drum, thus lowering the cost of ownership.

With the Kyocera FS-3800D Printer Toner offering additional savings by printing so cleanly and crisply, the savings can continue.  Kyocera toner has the advantage of no blotches or splotches, no matter the length of the job.  Finding replacement toner from online sellers is easy and quick.  The savings offered and the premier performance make this an exceptionally good choice.
