The Don’ts and Don’ts of Working With a Digital Agency For SEO

If you’re a brand marketer who has enlisted the help of a digital agency to optimise your website for search engines then it is important to recognise their expertise and experience. Whether you are paying for a one off site review and revamp for SEO service , or paying for ongoing web marketing services, it’s vital that you trust the digital agency. When the SEO process starts, a digital agency will always warn you that it is a gradual process and that you won’t achieve high SERP rankings overnight.
The most important piece of advice for marketers who have put their trust and their budget into the hands of a digital agency is to trust them and let them get on with their work, because it’s all too often too tempting for the marketers, believing they know better, to tweak things on the website and undo all the Search Engine Optimization professionals’ good work. Here is a short list of don’ts that customers should bear in mind if they don’t want to negatively affect their site’s SERP rankings and consequently their traffic and business.
Don’t remove pages that have been added specifically for SEO reasons. It’s undoubtedly a good thing to regularly update the website: Google will recognise this as a positive. But it is never a good idea to remove pages that were put there specifically with SEO Melbourne in mind. If you do remove the pages, then several 404 page not found errors will appear in their place. And Google doesn’t appreciate them.
I also suggest you Don’t remove redirects. Whether you are paying for a one off site review and revamp for SEO service , or paying for ongoing web marketing services, it’s vital that you trust the digital agency. Redirects are vital to carry over any ‘link juice’ from old pages to new pages.these are all that i have to say
